  • Overview

    Premier offers a well-structured English Language program that focuses on developing learners’ language competency. The language skills (reading, listening, writing, spoken interaction and spoken production) are focused on throughout the levels. Our teaching is geared towards meeting objectives set for each session which when met, learners can even sit for international level measuring exams, such as, the KET, PET, and FCE, from University of Cambridge, that equip learners with internationally recognized language qualifications that open the doors to work, study and travelling .
  • Duration

    Each level is 30 hours :30 hrs
  • Audience

    This course will benefit anyone who wishes to enter the 3D world either in animation, media, interior design or architecture field.
  • Assessment

    Assessment is administered throughout the courses and at the end. Methods of assessment are diversified: written quizzes and oral quizzes (role-plays – presentations- story telling …..... etc.)
  • Certification

    Upon the completion of each stage each learner is given a certificate that manifests the number of hours learned and a test script that shows the participants' scores.
  • Course Outlines

    Premier offers eighteen levels that are divided into six stages. By the end of each stage, learners are expected to show a specific set of language competencies as follows :

    Basic Stage:

    Upon completion of this stage, a learner can:

    • Introduce himself/herself and others
    • Ask and answer questions about personal details
    • talk about his/her favorite pastime activities
    • Give directions in a very simple manner
    • Give basic descriptions of people
    • Talk about abilities
    • Understand conversations about everyday situations, such as, sports, food, summer trips, T.V. shows … etc. provided that the language is in standard dialect and relatively slow
    • Write simply-structured paragraphs

    Elementary stage:

    Upon completion of this stage, a learner can:

    • Understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance, e.g., shopping, geography, employment … etc.
    • Describe his/her environment in a simple way
    • Give/ask for opinions simply
    • Manage himself/herself fairly while shopping, travelling, and in restaurants
    • Can write simple informal emails

    Pre-intermediate stage:

    Upon completion of this stage, a learner can:

    • Understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in school, work, leisure … etc.
    • Understand how information is organized in an article
    • Talk about personality traits
    • Tell a story
    • Compare different situations
    • Can make/respond to invitations/requests favorably/unfavorably
    • Write a movie review and a short story
    • Write a cover letter for a job application

    Intermediate stage:

    Upon completion of this stage, a learner can:

    • Understand news broadcasts
    • Read advertisements with relative ease
    • Discuss environmental problems and suggest solutions
    • Talk about the advantages and disadvantages of something, e.g., a job.
    • Manage himself/herself well in interviews
    • Make complaints
    • Write complaint emails/letters
    • Write a letter of apology
    • Talk about preferences

    Upper-Intermediate stage:

    Upon completion of this stage, a learner can:

    • Understand the main ideas of complex authentic texts
    • Interact with a degree of fluency that makes interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain
    • Write detailed texts
    • Express quite freely viewpoints on business or everyday-life situations

    Advanced stage:

    Upon completion of this stage, a learner can:

    • Understand the main ideas and most of the details of complex authentic texts
    • Understand standard spoken language, live or broadcast, on both familiar and unfamiliar topics
    • Understand idiomatic and slang language fairly
    • Understand extended speech provided that the topic is reasonably familiar and discourse markers are given
    • Give long elaborate talks
    • Use the language fluently and accurately in different situations
    • Account/argue for viewpoints in a sustained manner
    • Write formal correspondences
